I came here to get a single hard taco. I just never feel like an actual Mexican place serves hot tacos so I never look for them on the menu. But my wife said her brother always comes here to get their hard tacos, so we came to give it a shot. I enjoyed the hard taco. I ate only one, and I felt fine. If I ate a second I could potentially feel differently as the grease sat in my belly. But one was fine. Rancherito's is one of those places you just end up at every 4 months, either because it's the only thing open, or life just calls for a hard taco.

This place is a swag factory. If you're a real local you know this shit goes by The Ranch. Extremely high quality burritos and most are around $5 which is great cause they are pretty filling. Super nachos and Fries from here are super bomb. Service is pretty decent and getting your food doesn't usually take that long. But there are some nights where you do have to wait a bit because business is booming, baby. Stay away from the drive thru though because you'll have to wait forever for your food (just go inside). Great alternative to the Double Arches (which is right next to The Ranch) or Taco Bell (which is on the other side) If you like fine dining Mexican food and bomb ass burritos of the highest quality defo go here. The Ranch for life.

Awesome steak breakfast burritos! Pretty much that's the only thing I order. Customer service not so good.

This place is open 24 hours! Great place to eat after a night of dancing, partying, and drinking. Food is reasonable and not too shabby. It's a chain like McD but there are different names. Rancherito and Betos. I usually stick with their steak and eggs breakfast burrito for $4.99 which is served all day. Their carne asada tacos are pretty good too and very generous with the meat.

Open 24 hours. This location definitely takes longer to present the food than any other location I've been to. Good is awesome though.

I love the food here and all but every time I come through the drive thru the lady always has a bad attitude and once I get to the window she just hands me the paper to sign and doesn't even say a word to me, also my boyfriend loves the green sauce and this last time I was there I told her no red sauce only green and she gave me 3 green sauces?! Um how the hell is 3 tiny sauces suppose to be okay for 2 giant burritos! Lady you suck and you need to work on your customer service!

I have tried to give this place many chances and honestly, the only food dish that is good and I can't complain about is their Super Nachos. Everything else doesn't taste anywhere near authentic!!!! If you want a decent taco or burrito, go to Taco Bell!!! Food and service at Taco Bell is much better than this place!!!!

Add the hot carrots to any meal, and it's great. Always get extra sour cream and guacamole. Rolled tacos and Ranchero plate are the best, and they are there for you 24/7. That's dedication!!!

It isn't bad, but it isn't spectacular either. There is a difference between this place and Betos. They have very similar menus and prices, but this place has no place to get your own salsas, carrots, or jalapeños. You have to specially request to get some green salsa, and it isn't nearly as good as the others available at Betos. As far as the food goes, it is cheap and delicious. I've never had a bad burrito, but I've never had a spectacular one from here either. Give it a shot.

While their food is good, the service sucks. Just went through the drive-thru and the employee who helped me was extremely rude. The tone of voice she used and the looks she gave me when I asked a question resulted in crappy customer service and this review. At first I was going to write it off to her having a bad day, but she sure seemed happy as she flirted and laughed with the cook while multiple cars stacked up in line. Maybe she was thinking, "How dare this gringa ask a question that I have to answer?!" but guess what? We're not in Mexico, we're in Taylorsville, Utah! If you hate your job and the people here so much, why are you in a service position where we all have to deal with your condescending attitude? At least the girls at Beto's are polite and their food is just as good, which is why I won't visit this location again.

It's actually called Rancherito's now. Sooo good! These places are right up my alley! When they're good, they're GREAT! I've been eating at this location for several years, through several name changes, and it's always been one of the great ones. Their carne asada burritos, rolled tacos with cheese and guac, super nachos, machaca and breakfast burritos are all dynamite! Slather your food down with some of their uber-hot red sauce and you're good to go... if you can handle it. Ask for some hot carrots. Theyr'e FREE and they're REAL and they're SPEC-Tacular!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
